Mental Health Complaints Commissioner logo

Since its beginnings, the MHCC has been guided by the experiences and views of mental health consumers, families, carers and services.

To design our logo, we ran focus groups and surveys that asked participants to suggest the kinds of images and colours that would best reflect the MHCC for them.

The logo we created has 3 main elements:

  1. trunk: representing concepts of grounding, strength and support
  2. canopy: representing safety and protection
  3. leaves: or ‘speech bubbles,' representing the voices of people living with mental health issues, families and carers and support people

We continue to be inspired by these elements as the MHCC grows.
